AquaVision Canada Inc. utilizes a Remotely Piloted Aircraft System (Drone) to capture aerial imagery of the lagoon. Images captured are then processed to produce a top down “OrthoMosaic” of the project site.
AquaVision Canada Inc. develops a comprehensive waypoint mission of the lagoon. This mission is uploaded to the USV which will allow it to follow a preplanned route automatically.
AquaVision Canada Inc. technicians
will monitor data collection in real time safely at the shore and make any necessary adjustments while the USV is continuing along its waypoint mission.
AquaVision Canada Inc. technicians manually operate the USV using a remote control. This allows the USV to get into tighter areas that may not be covered during the automatic mission process.
AquaVision Canada Inc. will manually collect survey data and cross reference it with client supplied engineered As Built drawings (where applicable). This allows for maximum accuracy when preparing the final report.
Processing of sounding and survey data is done and a report is generated. Reports include Orthomosaic of Lagoon as captured by the RPAS, Color Matrix of lagoon identified by depths, Contour Report of lagoon, Depth Values of lagoon to top of sludge, Calculated volumes of sludge / sediment / entire lagoon, and 3D models
